There are slight differences every day,but the main tasks stay the same.
So for example, today we started off by refilling the storage cooler room with the new stuff that had come in the previous day.
After that we bleeched some tea pots to clean them out and make them all shiny. It was great sunny weather outside, but it was not very busy at all. This was because there was way too much wind for the golfers to have a good play. So there were quite some moments that we barely had any dishes to clean.
Of course we interact with loads of customers during the day as well. Today we met some German people that were having a walk around and came in to have some tea and coffee with a lunch. Rachel and I had noticed that hey didn't look very much English and they had this accent that sounded somewhat Dutch. We were way to curious not to go up to them because we were convinced they were Dutch tourists. We went up to them and asked nicely whether they were, but sadly they were not Dutch, but German. So we had a nice little chat with them.
Because it was not quite the busy day, me and Rachel were allowed to have our lunch together. So Rachel had a cheeseburger and I decided to have the chicken burger.
After our lunch, the dished did not stop piling up for a long while. We even had to stay a little longer just because we would not have finished it otherwise.
So there, that was it for today again. Tomorrow will be the last day of work...sadly.
